The Tenth Conference of States Parties (CSP10) to the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT)

The Tenth Conference of States Parties (CSP10) to the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) took place from 19 – 23 August 2024 at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG), Geneva, Switzerland, under the presidency of Romanian Ambassador Răzvan Rusu. This conference marked the tenth anniversary of the ATT’s entry into force, providing a platform for member states to reflect on the treaty’s achievements and challenges over the past decade.

A significant theme of CSP10 was “The Role of Interagency Cooperation in the Effective Implementation of Arms Trade Treaty Provisions.” This focus aimed to address internal and external challenges hindering the treaty’s objectives, emphasizing the need for enhanced collaboration among various governmental agencies and stakeholders involved in arms trade regulation.
