A memorial to Baffour Dokyi Amoa

In memory of Baffour Dokyi Amoa:

Baffour was the Chair of the International Advisory Council of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) since its inception until his passing in 2021. Previously, he served as the President of the West African Action Network on Small Arms (WAANSA). He was an international management consultant, professional accountant and diplomat from Ghana. He served in various civil society organisations in Ghana, the West Africa sub-region, the African continent and at the global level since 1977. Baffour was a strong voice as a member of the Board of Ghana’s National Commission on Small Arms. We thank Baffour for his important work to make the world a more secure place and will carry on his legacy. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
