Sadankomita – Committee of 100 in Finland
The Hundred Committee is an antimilitarist and pacifist, non-partisan and non-religious peace organization. The Hundred Committee is working to make Finland an active promoter of peace, as peace is a prerequisite for people’s well-being. The Committee of the Hundreds therefore believes that common resources should be used to prevent global challenges such as social inequality, resource depletion and climate change, rather than armaments. Finland’s security also depends on how these problems are solved globally and locally. The Committee of the Hundred has been contributing to peace since 1963.
