Kosovo Center for International Cooperation (KCIC)
The Kosovo Center for International Cooperation (KCIC) was established in 2001 and was registered on January 8, 2002.
In the beginning, the mission of the organization was to create lasting peace in Kosovo by connecting young people from all communities of Kosovo in the implementation of joint projects and thus overcome the barriers created by the past. Since 2004, the organization has transformed its mission. Thus from this period, the mission of the organization is to raise civic activism, strengthen the sense of community and promote responsible governance as well as to support and develop local, national and international initiatives for the development of human resources in Kosovo and in particular the youth of Kosovo.
In this way, the key target of the organization’s projects is the youth of Kosovo, regardless of nationality, religion, race, etc. In this way, the organization has defined its programs through which it aims to achieve the mission:
• Democratization of society by monitoring / advocating governing institutions,
• Non-formal education of citizens and in particular education of young people in the field of job creation,
• Empowerment of Civil Society and Networking with similar organizations in order to achieve of projects that affect the mission of the organization,
• Cross-border and international cooperation.
