Fundación para la Paz y la Democracia/The Foundation for Peace and Democracy, known by its acronym as FUNPADEM, is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan organization, whose mandate began in 1988 in Central America and the Caribbean, extending in 2002 to all the region of the Americas; By 2009, the foundation joined various global initiatives linked to the most strategic development issues.
The Foundation has more than 30 years of uninterrupted history in jointly carrying out strategic actions to promote sustainable human development, all based on the values of ethics, quality and solidarity.
Since our creation, we have worked on topics such as: cross-border cooperation, migration, security, dialogue and negotiation, participation of civil society and local development, political parties and labor rights. That is why we can guarantee extensive experience in any of these topics.
FUNPADEM is internationally recognized for being an organization with the ability to convene various interlocutors, decision makers and sectors, with the aim of imagining and launching, collectively, new and innovative strategies to address the different challenges they face. our societies.
