Centro de Investigación para la Paz (CEIPAZ)
El Centro de Investigación para la Paz/The Center for Education and Research for Peace (CEIPAZ) was founded in 2007 with the support of the Culture of Peace Foundation chaired by Federico Mayor Zaragoza. The center studies and disseminates, from a multidisciplinary perspective, the relationship between conflicts, human rights, gender and education.
It analyzes the main trends in the international system, the roots of armed conflicts and the main proposals for their peaceful resolution, based on dialogue and mediation. It develops research, training and transfer activities. It promotes education for a culture of peace, peace, equality and global citizenship as a tool for social transformation based on solidarity, social justice and equality between men and women.
