The Igarapé Institute is an independent think and tank, dedicated to the integration of security, climate and development agendas. Our goal is to propose solutions and partnerships to global challenges through research, new technologies, influence on public policies and communication. We are a non-profit, independent and non-partisan institution, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, but whose activities transcend local, national and regional boundaries. Awarded as the best Human Rights NGO in 2018, the best think tank in social policy by Prospect Magazine in 2019 and considered by Instituto Doar, for the second consecutive year, as one of the 100 best Brazilian organizations in the third sector.
