El Proyecto Caribeño de Justicia y Paz/ The Caribbean Justice and Peace Project (PCJP), established in 1973, since its inception works in favor of the construction of a culture of peace with justice. The programmatic themes are education for peace, demilitarization and environmental justice, through education and the dissemination of information. We offer an average of 20 workshops a year in schools, universities, churches and communities on the culture of peace and environmental justice. We actively collaborate with community, environmental and religious organizations in the country and in the same way we are a source of reference for researchers and journalists, and we maintain an active presence in the media
Since 1986 we have coordinated the Non-War Toy Campaign and Festival, with the aim of sensitizing the community about the impact of games and toys in the training of children and young people, promoting non-violent fun and thinking. critical of the glorification of war and violence in the media.
In the PCJP we have not developed indicators to measure progress or impact but we recognize that thanks to our consistent work the words and concepts of the non-war toy and culture of peace are part of everyday language both in the press and in society in general.
