La Fundación para el Desarrollo de Guatemala (FUNDESA)
La Fundación para el Desarrollo de Guatemala/The Foundation for the Development of Guatemala – FUNDESA is a non-profit private entity, made up of businessmen in a personal capacity , independent of sectoral, union or partisan interests, it was established in 1984 by the interest of Guatemalan businessmen to generate and implement programs and projects that promote economic and social development in Guatemala in a sustainable way.
FUNDESA works to contribute to the integral, sustainable and democratic development in a market economy and in the rule of law, through the consolidation of an independent and representative organization that has a proactive, responsible and long-term approach on key issues for the development of Guatemalans.
FUNDESA has positioned itself as:
- Source of information and relevant technical knowledge on Guatemala
- Bring together key projects in long-term economic and social transformation
- Interlocutor with international entities for innovation and introduction of new ideas and concepts to Guatemala
