Fundación de Estudios Para la Aplicación del Derecho (FESPAD)
Fundación de Estudios Para la Aplicación del Derecho/The Foundation for Studies for the Application of Law (FESPAD) is a non-profit public utility foundation, established on November 30, 1988, whose legal personality was granted by Executive Decree No. 23 in the Interior Branch, on 11 April 1989. With the entry into force of the Law on Non-Profit Associations and Foundations, on November 5, 1997, it amended its statutes, which were approved on March 9, 1998 by Executive Decree No. 27 of the Ministry of the Interior. and registered in the Register of Nonprofit Associations and Foundations at No. 85, book 1. Said decree was published in the Official Gazette No. 113, volume 339, of June 19, 1998.
FESPAD defines itself as an institution of human promotion, whose scope of approach to society is the Law; as a center for action on socio-legal-political problems, conceiving the Law as a political instrument at the service of the weakest; as an instance of participation of civil society in national life and as a center for the promotion and defense of human rights, the Constitutional State of Law and the development of legal sciences.
We are an institution that promotes democratic values and that are expressed in a participatory organizational structure. Our highest decision-making body is the General Assembly of Members, and our governing body is the Board of Directors.
FESPAD belongs to multiple national and international networks and alliances, from which the knowledge and respect of human rights is promoted and promoted.
Mission:
Participatively promote the construction of the constitutional, democratic and social State of law and defend human rights based on the dignity, freedom and equality of the human person, through the broadest knowledge and correct application of the law, to contribute to the development of societies fair and democratic.

To be a sustainable institution with the ability to contribute legally and politically at the national and regional level, committed to human rights, which promotes gender equality, empowerment and social leadership of the most vulnerable groups, to contribute to a constitutional and democratic institutionality with social justice.
