The CEHUM-Alétheia Center for Humanist Studies, is an organization composed of volunteers, dedicated to the research, study and development of sciences (especially historiology, psycho-sociology, history of cultures, economics, law, philosophy, anthropology, political science, among other).
It carries out its research and contributions with the intention of contributing to humanize science, technology and public policies.
The Center for Humanist Studies of Chile had its constitutive meeting in April 2006 and made its public launch at the Santiago Library on March 23, 2007, with the Seminar “Towards a Progressive and Proportional Disarmament in Latin America”.
The purpose of CEHUM-Alétheia is the production, training and dissemination of the vision of Universalist Humanism, oriented towards social transformation, promoting open participation to all those who have a genuine interest in carrying out research and work aimed at the proposed objective.
It is proposed to stimulate the exchange of contributions and join the creative efforts of its components, to study the most difficult and current problems that affect humanity, from the perspective of Humanism, as a universal current of consciousness and social action.
