Since 1983, at FundiPau (Foundation for Peace) we have been working so that more and more people are committed to building a world without violence and in peace.
Through an increasingly informed and active public opinion, we promote all those cultural and structural changes that make it possible to eradicate violence as a form of relationship between people and peoples.
We promote the Culture of Peace and Nonviolence. We aim to replace a culture that legitimizes, if not magnifies, the use of violence with another, in which respect for the equal dignity of all people makes it increasingly intolerable to us.
We work for the progressive disappearance of structural violence. We want an increasingly integrated and just society, where everyone can live with dignity and where the seed of violence finds no ground to take root.
We promote the creation and reform of structures for the prevention, intervention and transformation of conflicts, both internal and international. War and violence can and must be replaced by rational and constructive ways of dealing with disputes.
