The Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) / Leibniz-Institut Hessische Stiftung Friedens- und Konfliktforschung (HSFK) is a research institute in Frankfurt focused on violent international and internal conflicts and research of conditions for and promotion of the concept of peace. With over 90 employees, PRIF is one of the largest peace research institutes in Germany. PRIF analyzes the causes of international and domestic conflicts and looks for ways to resolve them. It combines basic research with the transfer of knowledge in politics, media and society.
